The most obvious lie in the whole shit river coming from his face is that the LAPD couldn't handle the protesters. Anybody who has been alive more than 5 minutes knows that if the LAPD can't handle something, then the entire world is on fire because they make other police regimes look like peace loving hippies. 🙄

Ah, the cop? More than that in my view. That's an assault and ought to be investigated as such

LAPD mounted police also tried to trample an unarmed lone man with no witnesses with their horses. When that didn't work they just beat him up. Footage taken from above.

LAPD has had a history of some bad apples perhaps two handfuls of at least the ones we know of. So besides an overly excited rookie, or perhaps a trigger finger who would rather act and then beg for forgiveness, or perhaps an order wasn’t given to hold fire and wait for command? Regardless the wounds from the rubber bullets look very painful, but are a LESS-lethal deterrent, so you won’t die as much.

I won't put anything past the deep state. The idea that thru would intimidate reporters to keep them from showing that the riots are not "mostly peaceful" is not hard to believe. But making the story about one cop and one reporter while our country is under attack by cultural Marxists is not productive.

They should see the video of cops, i think it's in either LA or Texas, shooting a woman point blank with a rubber bullet because they were blocking her only entrance to her apartment. She tried to tell them this and they shot her. Cops in America act like they are in warzones, not protecting communities.

The LAPD had no reason to shoot a journalist. It was probably an accident. But to dwell for even a second on it while police were getting pelted by concrete blocks and the having their vehicles attacked shows so much lefty bias in your reporting its beyond cringe.

I served seven years in the police. I have attended public order events.

It is clear to see that the officer aims and fires, if he wasn't aiming at her he's

A) a very poor shot

B) poorly trained in risk management

C) unfamiliar with decision models around the use of force

To dwell is vital part of a journalist's job, to record, to be the eye of history. Journalists are attacked all the time, it is a risk. Mostly, these attacks happen in countries which have poor rights records: authoritarian states. It should never happen in a nation that purports to be a democracy.

If it was an accident, an apology is required. If it was not, then a prosecution should follow.

That action, the deliberate and malicious targeting of that reporter?

Americans are treated like that all the time. Many times, they just kill us. Police in the US face no consequences at all for shooting us, strangling us, punching us, and falsely charging us. But a reporter gets nailed and NOW you understand. The cops target us directly, all the time

To us on the other side, American media (Hollywood included) often portrays USA as the land of opportunity, freedom and democracy in bright positive light.

We hear how free speech is enshrined in the First Amendment. Exported shows like Law and Order tells us that American journalists who do the right thing often win the day.

Then when you guys get shot, guess what your export media sells us in repeated doses to let us sympathise with whom your government wants us to sympathise with. Propaganda in short. Most fall for it.

Bearing in mind, certain tycoons who own our local media, have loyalties to certain factions in the US government.

Hence, in times of peace, everyone assumes this is so…

Until ours get shot.
